Reservations are strongly recommended. We encourage making reservations 3-5 days in advance. We do welcome last-minute bookings if both horses and guides are available.   

 

 All trail riders must be age 6 and up.  

Pony rides are available for children 5 and under.

1 1/2 Hour Trail Rides $75

This ride duration is perfect for new riders or those looking to get back in the saddle again. With horses to fit every riders abilities we can get everyone a beautiful view of Payette lake and other mountain scenery. The ride is offered daily at 9 and 11 am as well as 1 and 3 pm.

Half Day Rides $130

A 4 hour ride option that is great for those wanting to make there experience last a little longer. This trail presents greater wildlife sighting opportunities and halfway through stretch your legs and enjoy a short break at a lake. Half day rides begin at 8 am all summer long.

Private Ride $90 Per Person Per Hour

Private rides are only by reservation and can be at any time of day for any duration (depending on availability). When booking a private ride you are guaranteed to be only with your group and your ride can be more customized. Whether you are just wanting to ride without others, do more advanced riding, or get more of a lesson styled ride, this option is for you.

Evening Trail Ride and BBQ $170

Evening trail ride and BBQ begins at 5:30 pm and takes approximately two hours. This ride includes a variety of terrain and can be adjusted to the groups abilities. At the end of the ride gather around the campfire for a delicious BBQ buffet dinner. Dinner includes chicken, steak, fresh fruit, salad, and much more! Yum! Guest who do not want to ride may join for dinner at $35 per person.

Full Day Ride $200

Full day ride is a beautiful out and back trail that will cover some incredibly scenic area on the west side of the Payette lake. This trail features a high mountain lake for the half way stop and lunch. While beautiful, a few stretches of trail are not for everyone as they are on steep mountain sides. This ride is recommended for ages 12 and up. This ride is offered July through September due to snow and starts at 8 am.

Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides (Prices Vary)

Wagon rides are a great way to get everyone involved. Let us take you on an hour long ride with our team of Percheron horses. You can enjoy just the ride or add a BBQ dinner to the end of it. Wagon rides are $65 per person and $100 per person with a BBQ. Children 5 and under for the wagon and dinner are free.

Policies​​

  • Arrive 20-30 minutes early so you can be signed in and given a quick briefing on safety and horse control. If you are not at least 20 minutes early was can not guarantee your full ride time. 

​

  • We have a weight limit of 250 lbs for the safety of both horse and rider (this excludes wagon rides).

​

  • Please leave your dogs at home! Dogs not corral oriented pose a safety risk around horses.

​

  • Deposit of 20% of total ride cost is required for all rides. This is non refundable within 24 hours of the ride. 

​

  • Groups of 10 or more will receive 10% off ride cost. 

​

  • We ride in ALL weather, in the summer months, including rain and snow. The only time we will not ride is if trail conditions become hazardous due to weather or there is lightning.

​

  • ALL riders, ages 6 and up, will be on their OWN horse. We take great pride in our home grown horses that we can confidently put riders of all experience levels and ages, 6 years old to 96, on daily. There is NO double riding and pony rides are available for those 5 and under.

  • We accept cash, check, or credit card. 

​

For the best ride possible we recommend:

  • Long pants

  • Bring a jacket just in case

  • Cameras are a MUST!

  • Sneakers or cowboy boots strongly recommended

  • NO flip-flops or high heels 

  • NO Backpacks 

​

Please feel free to bring apples or carrots. The horses will love it!
